This is the free demo version of PD Howler 11 - also known as Axehead.
Why Axehead, what is that? If Dogwaffle wasn't already a mystic-enough name, what's the idea behind Axehead?
Axehead as in the addage about sharpening your axe, so you can work more efficiently.
This is the free demo version. You can use almost all features in it,
even save up to 50 times. Try it out. If you like it, please support us
by purchasing a license. It's not that expensive. You can find it for purchase here, on the developer's (Dan Ritchie's) site at Squirreldome.com too, and eventually also on Steam.
And if you already own an earlier version, such as v10, v9.6, or
earlier, or the PD Artist edition or PD Particles, whether purchased on
Steam or on Daz3d or at Renderosity, or other places and resellers, you
can receive a discount coupon for upgrading: discounts of up to 50% off
the regular price, just for asking Philip or Dan.
Download the free demo trial:
File name: Howler_11_Demo_RC017.exe
Size: 70.8 MB (74,310,674 bytes exactly)
Don't open the link directly from your web browser. First, save the
downloaded file. Then check it once more through your antivirus, to be
sure it won't raise a false positive that could erase it or parts of it
during installation. Then run the installer.
The installation will install Project Dogwaffle Howler 11 Demo version,
including MS Visual Studio runtime files that are needed. You may
already have those, coming from other software installation, no problem.
This has been tested and seems to work best on Windows 10, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1
It is a 32-bit application but loves to have a lot of RAM. If you are on a 64-bit version of Windows, that's the best.
