PD Howler 2025 Updated Installation
Pack for Howler 2025
Hello again, Happy New Year and we wish you lots of creative moments and good health.
Late last year we had announced an update package for Howler 2025: If you already had Howler 2024, this 2025 Update package would be installed on top and over the existing 2024 installation. The program would still show as Howler 2024 but then also included new filters, plugins and scripts. So if you wanted Howler 2025, you had to install 2024 first, then unpack the 2025 add-ons onto it.
Now we are pleased to announce a new, updated installer. This one still combines 2 installations:
- it installs Howler 2024
- it then also adds the new modules that make it the 2025 offering.
After this, the main program still will appear as 2024 but you will see it has the newly added modules, such as the WatercolorFX tool, Text crawl, and more.
In the future, we may have an even newer full installer that shows as Howler 2025. For now, we can offer you the combination of Howler 2024 and the extra modules as a single installer. (This was all due to the theft of the computer last year. Dan is gradually putting things back together.)

The background sky was created in Howler with the Filter: Render > Sky
The animated text was created in Howler 2025 using the new Text Crawl filter.
