Puppy Ray uses real Fresnel calculation to determine what to show when looking at water: the scenery below, essentially the ocean floor, as it appears refracted through the water's wavely deformations, or the world above, reflected on the water surface, such as the sky above, and the nearby islands, mountains, beaches.
