Tomas Pettersson aka DrPetter is a
swedish programmer and game developer who has created a
number of gamedev tools. This one is a free Sculpting tool - it's
amazing.
Sculptris can export your
creations to Wavefront OBJ format (.obj files and .mtl files for
material info), so you can use your 3D models in game dev systems, 3D
animation, further modeling and 3D painting such as with 3D layers in
Photoshop and Anime Studio, Manga Studio, Curvy 3D and many
others.

June 22, 2011 Sculptris Alpha 6 available now for PC and Mac, so go check it out! July 23, 2010 Let's see... I've quit school, got a job at Pixologic, moved out of my apartment. Also gone all kinds of places in Europe on the back of a motorbike with my father. Italy and Croatia were particularly nice. Looking forward to regaining some kind of daily routine, but it'll have to wait a little while longer. Going to Siggraph in L.A. next week.
