This page shows a recent satellite view from the GOES-8 weather satellite. A few webcam's pictures are shown along the left side. On February 26, 1998, you should be able to see the shadow of the moon slide across the Galapagos islands in the Pacific, the northern parts of South America (Panama, Colombia and Venezuela) and the Sourthern Caribbean during the total eclipse of the sun.  The small webcam views at left are currently based on webcams in the San Diego, California and Washington state areas. Eventually, we'll have views from webcams in the path of totality. We're looking for sponsors who wish to add their webcam to this page. Please contact us!
