Hello, here is another issue of our Dogwaffler of the Moment newsletter.

Howler 9.1 has been released. Order v9.1 now while it's on sale, to save 30%. If you already have v9.0 you should by now have received re-download information for 9.1. If you ordered yours from the developer Dan Ritchie directly via his Paypal store, you'll receive downlaod details from Dan. If you ordered it from TheBest3D.com, i.e. the BMTmicro online store, you should have received the re-download instructions. If you can't find them, look in the spam box. If you still can't find it, contact us.

If you have an earlier version 8 or earlier, contact us if you need a discount coupon for the upgrade. You will get a full installer nonetheless, so it doesn't matter if your old version is no longer installed or working.

Houston, no problem: the Color Wheel problem is fixed

There was a bug in the first shipping release (rc1) of Howler 9.1. There is a fix for it here:

For about a week, we felt pretty bad about this. It can crash your session when you haven't saved your artwork, causing you to loose the artwork in progress. We feel we had to warn you about it, and offer a temporary workaround, and we do feel a little better now that we have a fix. Be sure to patch your installation if you have the problem.

If you don't have the problem on your Howler 9.1, you probably have a newer build that fixes it too, such as RC3.

If you need help with your installation of the patch, don't hesitate to ask us.
