DoggyFX is a 3rd party plugin developed by Paul Wyskowski. If you do a lot of work with animations and video, you should take a look at what it does. It is awesome.

Loading a 3rd-party plugin - the "k)iller plugins" panel

To select and run a plugin which has been installed in the PD Pro installation folder, simply use the 'k' shortcut (k as in "k)iller plugins") or select the option near the bottom of the Window menu:

 Plugins panel...

The plugins panel's floating window appears.

There are several categories of plugins, such as some for import/export, filters and brush related plugins.

Select the Miscelaneous plugin tab.

Select the desired plugin. Doube-click it to launch it.

In this example we're working with a pre-release beta version of DoggyFX.
DoggyFX is a single executable but it is loaded with numerous tools, hundreds of transitions and filters and masked effects.

In the Utilities category, doube-click the 'Stored Animations' tool

DoggyFX can manage several clips known as stored animations. Some filters will let you use such stored animations with the current animation, perhaps for such effects as transitions or fades.

Click 'Save' in the top row to store the currently loaded animation.

The animation information area will show the number of frames and dimensions of the clip.
Use

Animation>Load Avi...

to load another video. For example the short video clip of the car driving scene described earlier.
Then Save that second animation in DoggyFX's Stored Animations.

As you can see, this second video clip is of the same dimensions (320x200 pixels) but it is a little longer, containing 153 frames vs 120 in clip number 1.
