Hello again. PD Pro 8.2 is coming soon. We
had a first look last month, we have a few more
videos/tutorials here. We also continue to explore
using 3D with the free program called Anim8or. See
new tutorials on how to use that with Dogwaffle
too.
Finbally, we have new pricing for PD Pro 7 and 8,
and also earlier versions. In fact PD Pro version
5 can be had for free.
We have a few
tutorials where Dan discusses what's coming with
8.2. We also just learned that the Style (3D
lighting) filter will have some type of animation
support, and so will the graphic Pen. Here's
today's word from our developer:
A few last minute
changes. the lighting tool will have
at least some basic animation capability (no
animated parameters yet)
The graphic pen will
also animate similarly, which could make
some 'naturalistic' animations possible
maybe.
During today's alpha testing
we were indeed applying the lighting tool across
all frames of the current animation, so whatever
that animation does will look very 3D topographic
now. Sh-weeeeeet!!!!
Oh, and if you enjoy the music in these videos,
you might want to mention that on your social
media, facebook, twitter etc... Thanks! The music
was created by Dan Ritchie himself, yep, same as
the author of Dogwaffle. Some tutorials feature
music by DJ d'Artagnan, and yet some others with
Jose Luis Suazo, aka eMaya. We're also looking at
Mike Hutchen's music and hope to have some of it
included in the future. These are all very
different styles of music. Some is epic, some is
quiet, and yet some is lively.
Similar moves have been implemented
for version 7, where the PD Pro 7
Artist for example is at $39 now.
Even better though, we're running a
special price on that latter version
at just $19.
