- Winter has arrived

Here's a recent animation that we created
completely in Howler 9.5.... well, apart from the
tree and raven - that's a photo taken in our
neighbor's yard. See it and related tutorials in
our YouTube channel here:
As we have learned to create our own nature
scenes with the River Canyon tutorials, we're
now exploring how to add other elements to
complement our scenes. This includes foreground
nearby hills, and of course trees and shrubbery
and grass up close to the viewer. But it also
includes items afar, such as birds in the sky
and moons and stars. Here's a tutorial on
creating and using a photo of the Moon in
different ways.

If you already use PD Howler 9.x, you know about
those image stamps that were donated by Michel
Agullo and that we have released over the past
year.
Here is a new batch of 37 images. In the spirit of
Christmas and giving, these are not in Howler
specific format, i.e. they are in generic PNG
image format, complete with transparency mask. You
can use them in other image programs too. Go here
